First she was in, then out, and now she’s back in, like a drillbit into the forehead of an unlucky prom date. The Loved Ones‘ Robin McLeavy has been cast as Abe Lincoln’s mother in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
It was originally rumoured that McLeavy would star opposite Benjamin Walker’s Abe as his wife Mary Todd, but it was soon revealed Mary Elizabeth Winstead had scored the role instead.
Deadline now claim that McLeavy will play Nancy Hanks Lincoln; a brief role, but a pivotal one, as it is her death-by-vamp that turns Honest Abe into a vengeance seeking vampire hunter.
It was also rumoured that Trent Reznor would play the bloodsucker that dispatched Nancy, but he recently denied his involvement.
